OR-Fab Skid Plate Can Deter Catalytic Converter Theft On Toyota Sequoia SUVs

Your vehicle's catalytic converters are designed to work like a mini furnace, burning any pollutants that may remain from your engine's exhaust. But to do this, catalytic converters use precious metals including platinum, silver and more, which make them attractive for thieves to steal and cash in on their scrap value. Toyota Sequoia SUVs are an increasingly popular truck to seal the converters from, because the converters are large and it's easy to crawl under the vehicle and remove them.

OR-Fab used it's extensive experience in designing body protection for the off-road market, and manufactured a 14-gauge steel skid plate that can deter catalytic converter theft and damage on all 2001-’07 model Toyota Sequoia SUVs. The one-piece, formed, skid plate #87040 can deter theft and save vehicle owners the enormous cost of replacing a set of OEM converters. It installs in twenty minutes, comes with heavy-duty hardware and is covered in a durable black powder coat finish. The skid plate can be removed for exhaust service and also protects the drivetrain and exhaust from any hazards while driving off-road.

OR-Fab products are designed and manufactured in the U.S.A and are backed by years of off-road experience. Contact, OR-Fab, P.O. Box 3450, Chino Valley, AZ 86323, (928) 636-7080. Or visit them online at www.orfab.com.

2001-'07 Toyota Sequoia catalytic converters are large and contain precious metals, making them a target for thieves to remove and cash in for the scrap value.

The OR-Fab steel skid plate can deter thieves once they see it won't be easy to access the converters and that it would take too long to remove or try to cut through the 1/4-inch thick steel plate.
