OR-Fab's Jeep JK Sport Cage A Hit At Off-Road Expo

OR-Fab's new Jeep JK Sport Cage was a big hit at the Off-Road Expo held at the Pamona Fairplex in Pomona, California, October 9-11th. This was the first time that the Sport Cage was displayed to the public, where consumers and retailers could get a close-up look at its unique, patent pending design.

"We created the JK Sport Cage with two specific functions in mind," says Chris Faustman, R&D at Performance Automotive Group. "The first was for it to be strong. So we made sure it mounted to some of the strongest points on the Jeeps' body, such as the door-pinch weld seams and floor channel. Secondly, we didn't want the cage to interfere with the interior so we made it hug the contours of the frame, dash and roofline."

"Many of the people who saw the cage, loved how it mounted to the floor," says Brad Fisher, Performance Automotive Group Field Rep and Market Manager. "They also liked the fit and finish, as well as how it mimics the contours of the dash and doesn't interfere with A/C vents or any other controls."

Both Faustman and Fisher also noted that people were surprised that the sun visors were fully functional with the Sport Cage installed, and that the bars mounted to the floor don't interfere with entering or exiting the vehicle.

The Off-Road Expo is a three-day event at the Pamona Fairplex, in Pomona, California. The event draws off-road, motorcycle and ATV enthusiasts to see the latest in parts, accessories. The show includes live entertainment, action features and product demos.

The Performance Accessories Jeep Wrangler was also outfitted with a Trail Master 5-inch Suspension System, OR-Fab Jeep Rock Doors, OR-Fab Rock Sliders, and OR-Fab Stinger Front Bumper.
